Medical Discount Solutions of OK programs are NOT INSURANCE, but provide discounts at certain health care providers for medical services. Medical Discount Solutions of OK does not make payments directly to the providers of medical services. The member is obligated to pay for all health care services but will receive a discount from those healthcare providers who have contracted with Medical Discount Solutions of OK. A health discount program is not considered a plan for purposes of creditable coverage. A certificate of creditable coverage will NOT be issued upon termination of the discount program. Medical Discount Solutions of OK does not apply to members of medicare/medicaid.
